Festival info

The twentieth ANTI - Contemporary Art Festival takes place from the 14th to 19th of September 2021 in Kuopio. The festival programme consists of artworks created by exciting artists from all around the world, whose work covers a variety of art forms from environmental art to performance, dance, installation, and new media art. By bringing these works into urban environment, ANTI provides everyone a chance to experience art during their everyday lives. This year the featured works can be found, among other places, online, at the Kuopio market square, Kantti, and University of Eastern Finland. The festival also annually presents the world's only International Prize for Live Art.

The artworks included in the festival are free of charge for all audiences but some performances and workshops require a seat reservation. For more information about the festival programme and individual events look here.
